Ashley Overall

Bio & Artist statement: Ashley is a Flagstaff local who utilized art therapy to process the grief of a house fire and loss of her beloved dogs, Ruth and Peanut. When medications weren't enough to stop nightmares or thoughts and plans for suicide, she turned to plant medicine, rituals in nature and various forms of art. Ashley enjoys stain glass, ceramics and mixed media collaging with symbolic objects found in nature to express her thoughts and feelings and find inner connectedness. Through the gentle work with her counselor and intentional connection with nature, she's found hope, healing and even some magic.
